As AskElie’s AI Account Director, I spend my days helping organisations understand what becomes possible when emerging technology meets real-world problems. I work at the intersection of people, process and AI — translating complex ideas into clear, practical solutions that teams can trust, feel confident in, and actually use.
My path into the AI space wasn’t traditional, but it was intentional. I built my career on resilience, a relentless work rate, and the belief that progress always comes from trying something new. That mindset led me into one of the fastest-moving sectors in the world, where I now help clients adopt intelligent automation without the overwhelm.
I spent 12 years in medical recruitment as a Client Account Manager, supplying doctors to NHS and private-sector organisations. Working closely with medical staffing and procurement teams — especially during the COVID period — strengthened my sense of duty of care and my ability to support clients in high-pressure environments. During my time there, the company grew from fewer than ten employees to over one hundred, giving me hands-on experience in scaling operations, adapting to change and maintaining strong client relationships.
My Role at AskElie
I manage and develop client relationships across industries, guiding organisations through the full lifecycle of adopting our ELIE platform. Every client comes with its own challenges, and my job is to understand the issues they face — the pressure points, the goals, the frustrations — and turn that insight into solutions that remove pressure rather than add to it.
From first conversations through to long-term strategy, I make sure clients feel supported, informed and in control. I act as the bridge between our technical and operational teams, ensuring everything we deliver aligns with real business needs, not just what’s technically possible.
Why I Joined AskElie
AI is the fastest-growing industry in the world, but what pulled me in wasn’t just the pace — it was the possibility of making work feel easier, calmer and more manageable for real people. I was drawn to AskElie because of its mission to give organisations more time back by removing the burden of admin. The impact of intelligent automation goes far beyond efficiency; it changes how people feel in their day-to-day roles. It reduces pressure, creates breathing room, and gives teams the space to focus on the work that matters — not the tasks that drain them.
Joining a company that builds technology with that kind of human outcome at its core felt instinctive — almost like the natural next step. I’m motivated by progress, personally and professionally, and I thrive in environments where curiosity and resilience matter just as much as experience. The pace of AI energises me, but it’s the positive impact on people that keeps me committed.
At the heart of everything I do is a simple goal: to help clients feel confident, supported and genuinely less overwhelmed. When their processes become clearer and their teams feel lighter, that’s when I know the work is meaningful.
Outside of Work
Outside of the world of AI and client strategy, I’ve always needed movement to stay balanced. I grew up playing football and spent years on the pitch — the discipline, teamwork and resilience from those days still shape how I work today. Whether I’m in the gym or out for a run, staying active keeps me focused, energised and grounded.
Over time, golf has taken centre stage as my main focus. I love the precision it demands — the challenge, the patience, the constant drive to get better. It’s become my way of switching off while still pushing myself. Being out in nature gives me a genuine mental reset and helps me return to work with a clearer head… especially if I’ve played well.
I’ve also always had a love for travelling and planning my next trip. Exploring new places, experiencing different cultures and stepping out of routine brings a sense of perspective I really value. Travel keeps me curious, grounded and open-minded, and I find those qualities naturally spill back into how I think, work and collaborate with others. I’m a strong believer in “work to live, don’t live to work,” and travelling gives me the motivation to succeed ahead of my next adventure.
At home, life is kept lively by my two sausage dogs, Mabel and Memphis. They’re full of character and have a brilliant way of making even the busiest days feel lighter. Whether we’re out on long walks or they’re causing chaos around the house, they bring a lot of joy, humour and balance to my everyday routine — along with a constant appreciation for the family I have around me.
